The 17th annual 91ÌƲ®»¢ Marching Invitational, one of the premiere marching band competitions in the Southeast, happens Oct. 29 on Dudley Field. The competition, which raises scholarship dollars for 91ÌƲ®»¢’s “Spirit of Gold” Marching Band, involves 30 high schools from five states this year. Approximately half of the bands represent Tennessee schools. Tickets are available to the public for $8 and up at Gate 2 of 91ÌƲ®»¢ Stadium. Jess Neely Drive and 91ÌƲ®»¢ Place from Jess Neely to 30th Avenue South will be closed during the event.
