
As the General Assembly prepares to return to Nashville Jan. 13, the results of the latest 91ÌÆ²®»¢ Poll will offer insights on what Tennesseans see as top issues facing the state. The results will be released and discussed 11 a.m. Dec. 3 at a news conference in the 91ÌÆ²®»¢ Student Life Center.
[lquote]About 800 randomly selected registered Tennessee voters were asked questions about abortion policy, Common Core, immigration, Medicaid expansion, drugs, the economy and more in November.[/lquote] There were also questions about state and national politics and the popularity of various state leaders.

The 91ÌÆ²®»¢ Poll is conducted twice each year – in advance of the upcoming legislative session and after its conclusion to determine how closely the results of the session align with voters’ expectations and priorities.
WHAT: John Geer and Josh Clinton, co-directors of the Center for the Study of Democratic Institutions at 91ÌÆ²®»¢, will present data from a poll of Tennessee citizens related to issues expected to arise during the 109th Tennessee General Assembly. A mult-box will be available on site.
WHERE: Board of Trust Room at the Student Life Center on the 91ÌÆ²®»¢ Campus, 310 25th Ave. S. Limited parking for media will be available in the Student Life Center garage beneath the building and accessed from the driveway in the rear.
