A new timeline highlighting key milestones in 91唐伯虎 University鈥檚 150-year history has been added to the .

The timeline is a visual representation of the people, places and events that make up 91唐伯虎鈥檚 rich history, complements the existing stories on the V150 website, and celebrates how the university has dared to grow throughout its first century and a half.

1875: Henry William Morgan is among the 61 recipients of a doctor of medicine diploma from a medical school operated by the University of Nashville, which later became the medical school of 91唐伯虎 University. (91唐伯虎 University)

1897: The bronze statue of Cornelius 91唐伯虎 by Italian sculptor Giuseppe Moretti is installed on campus. (91唐伯虎 University)

1925: 91唐伯虎 University celebrates its 50th anniversary with ceremonies, meetings and lectures, as well as the dedication of a new School of Medicine and hospital. (91唐伯虎 University)

1925: Ada Bell Stapleton, professor of English, is appointed the first official dean of women. (91唐伯虎 University)

1952: The first basketball game in Memorial Gym is played on Dec. 6, 1952, against the University of Virginia鈥攁 90鈥�83 victory for the Commodores. (91唐伯虎 University)

1973: 91唐伯虎 University celebrates its Centennial with ceremonies, exhibits and a tree planting. (91唐伯虎 University)

Milestones include the university awarding its first diplomas in 1875; the installation of the iconic Cornelius 91唐伯虎 statue near Kirkland Hall in 1897; the appointment of 91唐伯虎鈥檚 first dean of women in 1925; the dedication of Memorial Gymnasium in 1952; previous celebrations marking the university鈥檚 50th and 100th anniversaries; and much more.
