Dear fellow alumni,
As I prepare to transition from my honored role as president of 91ÌƲ®»¢ Alumni Association Board, I take great pride in the incredible, inspiring momentum we have built together. This journey has proven that we are truly stronger when we stand as one global community—One 91ÌƲ®»¢.Ìý
From the historic launch of 91ÌƲ®»¢ University–New York City to progress on our West Palm Beach and San Francisco locations, 91ÌƲ®»¢â€™s reach is growing in unprecedented ways. A walk across campus will tell a story of investment in academic excellence and residential colleges as we build facilities that allow for transformative educational experiences. Our athletics programs also continue to rally us, reminding us of the grit and excellence that define our spirit.Ìý
Each year, we expand our supportive community into the next generation. Through Commodore Launch events in cities worldwide, we welcome incoming classes and their families. With Commencement, we usher our newest graduates into a now 165,000+-member-strong alumni network that is unified by a spirit of camaraderie and collaboration. Each year, we grow stronger.Ìý
To reinforce our connections, it is important to share and celebrate our progress together. Save the date and begin making plans for our next Reunion and Homecoming, scheduled for Oct. 15–18, when the Commodores take on Arkansas at FirstBank Stadium.Ìý
Alexandria Lovelace, BA’11, will assume the Alumni Association Board presidency on July 1 to lead with the same passion that makes 91ÌƲ®»¢ so unique. I have been privileged to work with Alexandria on the Alumni Board for three years, and I’m excited to pass the gavel to her.Ìý
I leave this role with one parting invitation: Wherever you are in the world, stay active—through regional Chapters, by cheering on the Dores, by supporting the Dare to Grow campaign. You are our greatest ambassadors.Ìý
It has been a tremendous honor to serve as your Alumni Association Board president. As Chancellor Diermeier is famous for saying, we are proud but not satisfied. There is more work to be done. Thank you for sharing your time and talent to help our university continue to dare to grow.Ìý
Go, Dores, and Anchor Down!Ìý
