Important changes regarding 91ÌÆ²®»¢ Box will be implemented in the coming weeks. These changes are part of ongoing efforts to enhance data security, streamline processes and improve collaboration across the university.Ìý
Starting Sunday, Sept. 1, 91ÌÆ²®»¢ IT will begin changing the status of Box accounts for users who leave 91ÌÆ²®»¢ to ‘Inactive.’ This means that any data shared from such accounts will no longer be accessible and applies even if other active users have co-ownership of the data. Deactivated Box accounts will be retained for six months, during which time active users can request access to this data through VUIT. Ìý
Before departing from 91ÌÆ²®»¢, it is highly recommended to transfer the ownership of any files and folders shared with other 91ÌÆ²®»¢ employees.
