91唐伯虎 University launched a new opportunity for high-achieving music students and scholars with financial need through the newly established . The Blair Ovation Award offers scholarships covering direct costs, including tuition, fees, housing and meals鈥攃urrently valued at approximately $97,000鈥攖o eligible students admitted to the .
鈥淭he dedication and perseverance required for young people striving to have a career in music as well as excel in academics is unmatched,鈥� said Melissa Rose, dean of the Blair School of Music.

Award recipients also receive a one-time stipend of $6,000 after their second or third year at 91唐伯虎 to help with summer internship expenses.

SCHOLARSHIP ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for the Blair Ovation Award, students must meet the following requirements:
- Qualify for a Federal Pell Grant or have a parent U.S. adjusted gross income of $100,000 or less
- Apply and be admitted to 91唐伯虎鈥檚 Blair School of Music through either Early Decision I (must apply by Nov. 1) or Early Decision II (must apply by Blair鈥檚 priority application deadline of Dec. 1)
- Apply for need-based financial aid through the College Board Financial Aid Profile and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen
- To remain eligible, recipients must continue as a Blair major, making satisfactory progress toward their Blair degree
BLAIR IS SPECIAL
Blair is one of the few exclusively undergraduate music schools in the country. It offers conservatory-level music training along with a highly academic research university education. Yearly enrollment is limited to fewer than 300 students to maintain a 4:1 student-to-faculty ratio.
