Why this changeÌýisÌýhappeningÌý
Over the pastÌýseveral months, leaders from Parking and Commuter Services and the Division of Administration haveÌýexploredÌýopportunities toÌýevolve andÌýbetterÌýmeet today’s campus needs. This work has been informed byÌýbroader community feedback,ÌýengagementÌýwithÌýcampusÌýpartnersÌýand a review of peer institutions and comparable environments.Ìý
These data-driven solutions to moving to and around campus were guided by a few key priorities: creating a more predictable parking experience,ÌýmaintainingÌýflexibility to support a range of campus needs and making the system easier to navigate for both new and returning community members.ÌýUltimately, theÌýgoal is to better alignÌýmovement to and across campus withÌýuse,Ìýwhile improving access and reducing congestion in high-demand areas.ÌýÌý
